Core-level SDK Integration

The core level SDK includes classes and protocols that implement chat services.

The minimum implementation level requires the following header files:

  • Create an account object
    The first thing to do when we want to use this SDK is to create an instance of a BCAccount. BCAccount stands for an account identified by an access key received from the web setup.
  • Chat availability checking
    The availability of the chat can be checked any time, without starting a chat session.
  • Creating Chat Session
    The chat session is the most important concept of a chat process.
  • Forms
    The creation of a chat session can result in need to display an unavailable chat, or a pre-chat form.
  • Submitting an Unavailable Chat Form
    Displaying an unavailable chat can be reached from three scenarios.
  • Chat Recapture
    Not available now. While the customer fills an unavailable chat form, an agent can become available.
  • Change Language
    On the pre-chat form a language selector is presented many times. If the user changes the language, it is required to change the localized field and option titles of the form to the selected language.
  • Submitting a Pre-Chat Form
  • Chatting
    BCChat is a interface of the class that coordinates the actual chatting.
  • Request chat history in email
    While chatting the user can request that he or she needs the transcript of the current chat sent in email at the end of the chat.
  • Submitting a Post-Chat Form
    The post-chat form needs to be presented when the chat ended and there is a post-chat form to be displayed.
